It is for information of all concerned that next State Eligibility Test (SET), 2022 conducted by the SLET Commission, Assam (N.E. Region) will be held on 27th February (Sunday) in all the University Centres of N.E. States. The candidates will have to submit application through on-line system. Details of procedure of submission of application Form, Syllabi of all 25 Subjects and other information are available in the website www.sletne.org.

SLET 2021 Age Limit Details :

• Candidates should go to the SLET 2021 Official Notification given below for application Age Limit details.
• There is no upper age limit for eligibility for applying for Assistant Professors. Candidates who qualify in the Test are eligible to apply for the post of Assistant Professor within the jurisdiction of the Member-States of this SLET Commission. They will be issued a Pass certificate and the validity period of the certificate is forever

SLET 2021 Application Process : Steps to Apply

• Check Eligibility from Official Notification and Eligible Candidate Can Apply for SLET 2021 Click on the Apply Online Link given below
• Fill the application form : Start your application process for SLET 2021 by providing your basic details such as name, contact number, email id etc. and click on the save and next button.
• Upload the required documents : Upload your photograph and signature in the required format as provided.
• Pay Fees : Pay your Application Fee through Online Payment Option, i.e. through Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking.
• Click on Submit Button. Your application form will be submitted successfully.
• After paying the exam fee you can successfully submit your application form.
• Print the application Form

SLET 2021 Procedure & Criteria for Declaration of Result :

• The criteria of UGC-NET communicated vide letter No. F.4-2/90 (NET) dated 13th June, 2017 will be followed.
• It has been decided by the UGC that 6% of the appearing candidates should be declared qualified for Eligibility for Assistant Professor

Scheme of Test : SLET 2021

• SLET 2021 Test will consist of two papers. All the two papers will have only objective type questionsof the following forms:
• Paper – I shall be of general subject, intended to assess the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate
• Paper – II shall consist of 100 objective type questions based on the subject. Each question will carry 2 marks.
• There will be no Negative Marking
