National Testing Agency (NTA) released notification for Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2024 Session 1 (January 2024). You can apply online for JEEMAIN 2024. Before apply online, must read the entrance exam notification for the JEE Mains.

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE (Main) comprises two papers. Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.) is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B. Tech) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions/Universities funded/recognized by participating State Governments. It is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs. Paper 2 is conducted for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses in the Country.

For Academic Session 2024-25, it has been decided that the JEE (Main) 2024 will be conducted in two Sessions i.e. Session 1 (January 2024) and Session 2 (April 2024). The details for the Session 1 (January 2023) are given below:

NTA JEEMAIN Age Criteria

For appearing in the JEE (Main) – 2023, there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed the class 12/equivalent examination in 2022, 2023, or appearing in 2024 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE (Main)-2024 examination. However, the candidates may be required to fulfill the age criteria of the Institute(s) to which they are desirous of taking admission.

NTA JEE Main 2024 Examination Scheme

JEE (Main) – 2024 will be conducted in the following modes:

• Paper 1 (B.E. /B. Tech.) in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode only.
• Paper 2A (B. Arch): Mathematics (Part-I) and Aptitude Test (Part-II) in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode only and Drawing Test (Part-III) in pen and paper (offline) mode, to be attempted on drawing sheet of A4 size.
• Paper 2B (B. Planning): Mathematics (Part-I), Aptitude Test (Part-II), and Planning-Based Questions (Part-III) in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode only.
